The instrument that I make is not an EUB. It is an 3/4 acoustic bass that folds for travel without the use of any tools in under 2 minutes. It sets up just as quick. The reason that I'm posting here on a EUB database is because I believe that the majority of bassists that use EUB's do so to avoid the many problems associated with travel. But I think that the same majority would rather play a real bass on their gigs, if they had the choice. Until now, you couldn't have it both ways. Some bass players think EUB's look cool, feel good to play, and sound great. For them, there are many to choose from. But if you want a travel friendly instrument that looks like a bass, plays and sounds like a bass, (is a bass), you can now have that, and at an affordable price. Come see it at www.foldingbass.com |
