Amplifier Used: kustom 250 through 2 - 15" peavey black widows in an old ampeg cab.
  • Number of Strings: 4
    • Double bass strings compatible
  • Bowable: Yes
  • Balance While Playing: ******** (8/10)

O.k., I have a few questions to throw out there.
1.  Has anyone ever heard of a Morelli?
2.  What year(s) did that company exist?
3.  Does anyone out there own one?

My comments:  I've been playing this thing out live in my band "Stinking Lizaveta"  for about seven years now.  It rocks.  It's been modified a bit, not by me as much as previous owners.  By the time I got it it had Active Alembic pickups put in real close to the bridge, real close to the strings.  It had part of the body cut away in order to access the G string for bowing.  I've since remodified the peg and the belly brace to make it sturdier.  Anyway, I'm really hoping to find out more about my bass so that when people ask me I can have something to say besides my random guesses.
