I have owned this bass for three months and have had the opportunity to play it in several venues. It always attracts admiring comments.  The sound is fantastic. Several people have complimented me on the smooth, even sound. With some fiddling I can get a punchy sound that almost duplicates an acoustic bass.  The quality of construction is excellent. Bowing this bass is like bowing an acoustic. One minor problem is that when switching from pizz to arco the volume needs to be quickly adjusted or it will be too loud. A foot pedal would make this easy to straighten out. The "tummy" rest takes a little getting used to. I tend to play without it. Dino was very easy to deal with and very accomodating. After the sale he also was easy to reach for questions.
