on my research for EUB's I found Ray Ramirez checking the web.
In Europe/Germany real EUB's are rare to find.
My investigation elvolved, that I wished an upright with real fingerboard and thumb-stop for the D.
Fortunately I found one of Ray's basses in the near of my hometown for sale.
That's very funny 'cause I never saw one before for sale in the whole web.
went there, played it, fall in love and bought it in a minute.
Since that day, it is my most beloved instrument. The action is unbelieveable low, no dead spots on the fretboard, pefect shape of the ebony neck in absolute straight condition.
It has the diaphragma and the piezo, active electronic as well.
The sound is outstanding and reaches from acoustic to percusive aspects allways the right amount of tone you desire and cuts throught every mix.
I suppose it can not sound bad.
