My EUB, which is brand new and my first EUB (I regulary play on a fretless bass guitar) feels and sounds great.

The instrument looks very nice and gives an impression of the basic classical instrument. The body is hardly 30 cm large, but has the model of a 'stretched' violin. The neck and the head are the same as on a real double bass.

The active circuit gives lots of possibilities for the sound, allowing to produce a quit real acoustic sound. I 'bypass' the equalizing on my amp and use the bass-knob on the EUB to choose the necessary presence.

The bass was build in about 3 months by Rogier Dieges (Rotterdam, The Netherlands), perfectly customized the way I asked (position markers, lefthanded, 5-string, color-finishing etc).

Fantastic instrument !
