This is a "mute" bass that has a true double bass neck. It also takes any traditional double bass bridge. However, the solid, non-hollow body is about 4 centimeters thick and weighs way too much. To carry this bass around, I would have to trim the body to make it a bit lighter. The fingerboard and tuning machines have been upgraded. (I no longer own this bass.)
