First, this is not the CrossOver, but the 41.4 in scale Uprite.
I'm currently using SpiroCores, and am very happy with the Pizz sound, though I think different strings would help the arco.
The sound on this is quite good, good enough to impress my instructor, a player of 40+ years. The low end is very clear, and the tone pots give a wide range of tonal options. It has 8 piezos, wich makes 2 per string. This helps make a fuller sound, IMHO. It also comes with a multi-out, which allows each string to be recorded to a different track. (I believe this is standard, but having aquired mine used, I'm not sure.)
The only complaint I have is in the upper range (high g on the g string) the tone becomes brittle, but I think this is a setup problem, which I plan on getting checked soon.
Also, the Zeta (and most other EURB's) has a tripod stand as an extra. Get it. These take a little of the hassle away in laying it down, not to mention these instruments are works of art, and should be displayed.
