Greetings

I have  been building Electric Upright basses for a few years now (have been luthier for around 20). My EUB's are built one at a time at my home/shop on Cape Cod, Mass.

My design continues to evolve, but it is a solid wood instrument, the body is a sandwich of dark and light woods and the neck is designed to be comfortable to "crossover" players (electric bassists) therefore I use position markers. I use K&K sound Piezo pickups and a variety of on-board electronics

you can check out one of the basses on my cheesy webpage:  <http://www.capecod.net/~khoyt/BA...>

If interested, e-mail me and let's have a discussion:

sincerely,

Karl Hoyt
